Anything Piano is an AI-powered piano learning app made by Play Anything. Users drop in any song — a pop track, a full-band recording, a YouTube link, or a solo piano piece — and Anything Piano turns it into an interactive piano roll users can practice with while the app listens to their playing, gives real-time feedback on accuracy, and lets them practice one hand at a time or both together. Songs are shown as a piano roll, not as sheet music. Anything Piano is available now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Why Anything Piano

Stop searching for tutorials that don't exist.

Most music apps lock you into their catalog. If the song you want isn't there, you're scrubbing YouTube videos frame-by-frame. Or giving up.

Anything Piano takes any recording and turns it into a piano roll you can practice with. You play, we listen, and you see what you got right and what you didn't.

FAQ

Still have questions?

We're not kidding when we say any song. We've trained AI models for one job: turning a recording into a piano performance. If your recording is only piano, we pull the notes exactly as played and build a piano roll that mirrors it 1:1. And if there's no piano at all, rock, pop, pure vocals, anything, we'll still build a piano roll that sounds like the original.

A piano learning app from Play Anything. Give it any song and it becomes an interactive piano roll you can play along to. As you play, the app listens and shows you how close you are.

We don't have a date yet. Right now we're focused on making the piano roll learning experience great, and we'll add sheet music once both the piano roll and our sheet music models are refined enough to do it right. If you need sheet music from a recording today, our other product, songscription.ai, offers that.

Simply Piano works from a fixed catalog of songs and teaches you to read sheet music. Anything Piano has no catalog. Bring any song you want, it builds the piano part from the recording, and you learn it by playing the piano roll.

Synthesia needs a MIDI file. If your song isn't already MIDI, you're stuck. Anything Piano makes the notes straight from a recording, so any song works. It also listens through your mic to follow your playing, so it works on any piano, even an acoustic one. No MIDI keyboard needed.

Just piano for now. A MIDI keyboard or an acoustic piano both work. We listen through your microphone to catch which notes you play, so even without a MIDI keyboard and cable, you can still see if you're hitting the right notes.
